01Terms of admission
By request, by introduction.
Preceda admits members in editions. Edition I, the first hundred members, is forthcoming; admission to it is by request and introduction.
-
By request.
Leave an address below. Each request is entered with its own number, in the order it arrives, and Chambers writes to you with it. A request does not open an account.
-
By introduction.
A member may introduce a colleague. Introductions are given, never sold: they carry no fee, credit or discount.
-
Priced for chambers, not for Big Law.
Set for a practice with juniors, not a firm with a procurement desk. Founding members keep the price they are admitted at.
What a request does
- It enters your address with the next request number, and the letter from Chambers carries it.
- The address is used only to reply to you; the court and the name of an introducer, if you give them, only to place the request.
- It does not admit anyone or create an account.
Members
- Preceda prepares legal research and drafts for counsel to review; it provides legal information, not legal advice.
- Members sign in with their email address; each sign-in sends a one-time code, and there is no password. Members sign in.
Use of Preceda is governed by the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
